Let’s talk about some of the ways to clean filthy every day items! Some of them are so simple, you’re going to wonder why you never thought of it before. Such as cleaning your steering wheel. Your steering wheel can get so dirty. You’re touching things out in the world, you’re eating on the road, and then you’re touching your steering wheel. Keep the build up of nasty germs at bay by wiping it down with disinfectant wipes every week! If you’re like me, you use earbuds daily. These can also get gunky pretty quickly with a little bit of earwax buildup. Gross! Remedy this by cleaning them with a damp soapy cloth every so often. Make sure they’re dry before you use them again. Some may mistakenly think that because you wash dishes in your kitchen sink, that it’s clean by default. That’s not true. A special effort should be made to clean just the sink with clean soapy water, not dirty dishwater. And periodically use something stronger, such as bleach or a kitchen cleaner. I am sure that without this article, I would have never thought to clean my credit cards. But, again, you use them in stores after touching dirty shopping carts and over time, gunk builds up on them as well. Every now and then, just give them a wipe down with hot soapy cloth, or a disinfecting wipe.
