When I saw pretty children’s rainboots at the the Goodwill Store, it occured to me that they’d make great planters. I couldn’t find any boots at thrift stores this year, but did find some at Aldi. They were $6 a pair.
I cut a hole in the bottom of each boot. There’s a rectangle on the bottom that usually has the size on it. Very carefully cut a hole to allow for drainage. I used an exacto knife, scissors and a steak knife. It does take some maneuvering to get the square out.
