Louise Cooke had two young children when she split from her then husband at 23. Looking to reinvent herself, Louise turned to the regular use of tanning beds after receiving compliments from people on her tan.
She quit tanning when she met Martyn, her future husband. After five months, Louise discovered she was pregnant. However, a month into her pregnancy she discovered a mole on her back that was removed, tested and resulted in cancerous melanoma.
